Ari Pourat, Esq.
Mr. Pourat earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Los Angles (UCLA). He also earned his Juris Doctor degree from University of New Hampshire School of Law. While in law school, he worked as an intern at the Los Angeles Superior Court, through American Bar Association Judicial Intern Opportunity Program. He contributed innovative ideas for rebuilding and improving the living situation of many juveniles with substance abuse and dependency problems at Juvenile Hall. He provided assistance to draft the Drug Court Manual.
Mr. Pourat also served as a Law Clerk for Bet Tzedek Legal Services, where he helped numerous indigent clients who needed emergency legal assistance. For his contributions at Bet Tzedek, he received the Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services from the State Bar of California.
In 2010, he became certified as a public mediator. At Superior Court of Orange County, he mediated numerous small claims disputes and civil harassment lawsuits.
Mr. Pourat has a unique life experience, which enables him to be a creative and efficient problem solver for his clients. He enjoys playing soccer and chess.
He is fluent in Persian (Farsi) and Spanish.
